City, Factories, & Farms

WISE has a variety of programs in Tokyo. WISE hosts kids’ programs in English, Technology, Science, Design, Music, and more in the Setagaya Ward west of Shinjuku. Tokyo is home to many facilities and attractions that play important roles in the seasonal programs we offer in Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. And yes, that includes everything from the forested mountains west of Tokyo to the many museums and city attractions in the urban center itself.

Mountains & Ocean

Kanagawa is the prefecture to the south of Tokyo where our alliance has locations for sports, camps, activities, and and retreats, from Yokohama to the Shonan Coast to the foothills of Mt. Fuji. WISE has school facilities located near Kamakura, one of Japan’s historical & cultural centers.

Peaks & Beaches

Shizuoka Prefecture is home to Mt. Fuji in the north, Shimoda City in the south, and WISE’s center of international education in Shimoda City, Minami Izu. From 2023 onward, Shimoda World International School (SWIS) will run seasonal experiential programs based at this location. The SWIS High School program will continue delivering its program online from 2023~2026. From the 2027-2028 school year, WISE will complete development of a full boarding school facility.
