Vision

WISE creates hubs of international activity connecting learners to community, and community to learners. It facilitates students from around the world converging in their passions and pursuits. Based in state-of-the-art facilities, they live, study, and engage in a wide variety of activities with public & private interests in academia, commerce, industry, and with the community at large.

Rationale

WISE offers what few others do: a base for deriving meaning from discoveries & observations taken from the community, region, & wider world. It provides basecamps for ideas, labs for the analysis of everything, centers for further investigation & understanding. What is learned is then applied, returned to the world in meaningful ways.

Objective

The raison d’être of WISE is threefold: 1. the ongoing return on value to both social and commercial interests of the region that parallel equally relevant global concerns and values; 2. a destination school in a part of the world that not only provides stability, safety, and a high standard of living, but also distinct cultural, social, and economic richness; and 3, a priceless, relevant learning adventure for anyone from anywhere.

Future

WISE bases its initiatives on a fundamental notion: as a species, humans will continue to converge in their activities, passions, economics, technologies, awareness, and initiatives. As a result, WISE builds World Schools, not International Schools, since the latter presumes the needs of students are somehow different outside of political boundaries. WISE looks beyond boundaries & facilitates Education that applies to everyone everywhere equally. Its location is only one of a world of possibilities where a convergence of learning can take place.
