Our Oceanside Resort Facility

WISE is looking forward to opening its Ocean Vibes facility in 2023 as the base for many of its seasonal programs. WISE learning experiences will take place only minutes walk from Japan’s most popular beaches and in the comfort of a cozy compound of log cottages cottages interconnected via quaint wooden decks, large gathering spaces for BBQs, a rooftop jacuzzi & swimming pool surrounded by palm trees and ocean views, and multiple activity spaces.

The Ocean Vives Club is located on the Izu Peninsula in Shimoda City, a city that earned its fame with American Commodore Perry’s visit in 1854 and the establishment of the first US Embassy in Japan. It is a vibrant, affluent, vibrant, and diverse, and internationally-minded community near the southern tip of the Izu Peninsula. The location, is endlessly scenic, semi-tropical, geologically rich, and features the best ocean geography in Japan, some of the best white sand beaches anywhere, and some of the best surfing in the world.
