WISE offers rewarding, fun, and ongoing education experiences throughout the year. These programs, some pre-organized, like the Rocket Weekend Adventure and the Sea Life Escape, offer focused learning opportunities to Kids and Teens in exciting areas of learning. On top of that, WISE is prepared to customize learning adventures for school groups. Beyond that, whenever there is a cause to celebrate, the WISE Celebrate Learning Program can, on demand, put together a fantastic experience for groups of kids that will allow them to do and learn exciting things, while at the same time celebrate special occasions.
The Rocket Weekend Adventure is a special weekend learning experience that allows students learn the mechanics of rocketry. Students stay at the WISE facility in Shimoda. On Day 1 they build their rockets. On day 2 we have a special launch party on Shirahama Beach only a short walk away. And all the while they learn about the science (and fun!) of rocketry.

This is a two day event that let’s students become rocket engineers for an entire weekend. They will build and test their own real rockets, and they will do so in an environment that allows them to enjoy a full weekend of camp life including great food, BBQs, and fun social & educational activities.
